KIMBERLY DOWDELL ELECTED AIA’S 2024 PRESIDENT
ARCHCareersGuide.com wants to make sure you know Ms. Kimberly Dowdell, AIA. Why? Because she just made history. Recently, Ms. Dowdell was elected as the AIA 2023 First VP / 2024 President. And why is this historic – She will NOT be the first female president nor the first black president, but she will be the first black female president; that is historic
We are extremely excited about her tenure as AIA President; we were just as excited when she served at NOMA (National Organization of Minority Architects) President. We had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Dowdell more than a few years ago at a NOMA Conference in St. Louis. We attended the same session and sat adjacent to one another. We connected and have remained professional colleagues ever since.
To best learn about her, we encourage you to visit her personal website. Learn more about her candidacy and even connect to her candidate speeches.
